Who We Are

Inspired by local cafés across the country and around the world, the Nehemiah Coffee Co. founders set out to bring a fresh concept to Arlington that was aimed at nourishing our community from within. Through food and drink, conversation and connection, we aspire to cultivate an environment where individuals from all walks of life feel welcome and at home. 

Rooted in a strong belief in human connection, the Nehemiah Coffee Co. is a space for the Arlington community to gather, work, support one another, and explore new ideas side-by-side —all while enjoying locally sourced, artisan products.

Local Connections

Arlington overflows with the passion of its residents and we take great pride in offering coffee, pastries, ice cream and beverages from some of the area’s most beloved companies. The Nehemiah Coffee Co. itself was born from the dream of local entrepreneurs and we want to lift the stories of others like us.

More than a place to grab a quick cup of coffee, Nehemiah Coffee Co. embodies the true spirit of community and connection. A calm environment with an abundance of natural light, gives way to tables, nooks and meeting areas across our space. We welcome groups of all backgrounds —whether students, co-workers, friends or volunteers— and we hope to be the place where ideas can come to life. 

Best of all, we’re honored to host planned gatherings. Our dedicated team works with local leaders to bring curated events together with the intention of deepening connections throughout our community. With art exhibitions, parent support groups, bible studies, wine tastings and so much more.

Our Ideal Day

What does an “ideal” day at Nehemiah Coffee Co. look like to us? Our team starts the morning with the scent of fresh coffee, the sound of music, and the warmth of sunshine flooding in as we prepare to open our doors to friends, new and old. We watch the ebb and flow of guests filling our tables, and we smile as conversations ignite and laughter floats across our space. By late afternoon, we’ve seen toddlers wave hello, colleagues collaborate, a small bible study group gather, and a recent retiree savor time with a great book. After the hustle of the afternoon rush, we begin pouring wine or a brew off the tap as neighbors and friends enjoy intentional moments together. Before we know it, another beautiful day was given to us, and we look forward to what tomorrow brings.

Our Founding Company

Launched in 2021, Nehemiah Coffee Co. is helping pave the way for more community-focused retail developments by our parent corporation, The Nehemiah Company. Primarily focused on housing and residential projects in the Arlington/DFW metroplex, The Nehemiah Company partners with city and county governments in redevelopment of substantial, infill locations. By working in synergy with local municipalities, the company achieves its goals of both quality and long-term sustainability. Following in The Nehemiah Company’s footsteps, Nehemiah Coffee Co. takes pride in reinvesting profits back into Arlington.
